We will begin our itinerary with a visit to the Stanguellini Museum, home to Italy’s oldest sports car manufacturer. You will enjoy a guided tour of a remarkable collection of rare and historic race cars while learning about the pioneering spirit that has shaped Modena’s motoring legacy.
Luciano Pavarotti’s Museum
Next, we’ll step into the world of the great Luciano Pavarotti, exploring his former home filled with personal artifacts, costumes, and memorabilia that celebrate the life of the legendary tenor.
Acetaia Cà Dal Non – Balsamic Traditional Vinegar
Afterwards, we will enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive through the gentle Emilia-Romagna countryside to reach Vignola and we will visit a local acetaia to witness the centuries-old process of crafting Modena’s famous balsamic vinegar. You will savor the deep, complex flavors of aged balsamic and understand why this liquid gold is a staple of Italian cuisine.
Traditional lunch in a local “trattoria”
Following our visit, we will indulge in a delightful lunch showcasing authentic Modenese cuisine. You’ll have the chance to savor tigelle and gnocco fritto (fried bread served with cured meats and cheeses), a beloved street food that perfectly captures the flavors of the region. The meal will also include filled pasta and conclude with a sweet treat: “Torta Barozzi,” a rich and indulgent chocolate and coffee cake that has been kept as a secret recipe for over a century.
Vignola Walking Tour
After lunch, we will stroll through the charming streets of Vignola, famous for its cherry orchards during the springtime and stunning medieval architecture
Horacio’s Pagani Museum
Our last but equally important stop will be the Horacio Pagani Museum, where you can discover the artistry and innovation behind one of the world’s most exclusive supercar brands. A self-guided tour will unveil the craftsmanship behind these bespoke hypercars, where engineering meets pure passion.
